« L'Étreinte des Mues » explore la relation intime entre le sauvage et le vivant, où la beauté et l'étrangeté se rencontrent dans un équilibre fragile et viscéral. Le costume nude, mimétique ma peau, crée une fusion troublante entre l'humain et l'animal, symbolisant la métamorphose et la transformation.

What if the Instagrammable image cracked open to reveal a nature of fur and primal bestiality? Distorted skin and fragmented faces would spread across the walls. Parasite-like bodies would wave at you amidst platinum and silky hair.
In the layered world of beings and appearances, self-perception is in constant flux, often intensified by social media and contemporary beauty standards. Anja Jenny's bizarre works, straight out of a dream or a nightmare, invite each viewer to reflect on their relationship with their own body and image. Let’s take a moment to appreciate the delicate charm of flesh, pores, sheen, and the grotesque. This fascination, dangerously flirting with disgust, makes this world strangely fun. [N. Cotting]

A raw and rebellious street-style performance unfolding in the heart of Paris. Ructus disrupts the urban flow with unexpected movements, bold gestures, and wearable sculptures. Drawing from the chaos and glamour of the city’s fashion culture, this performance critiques the polished façade of street style, exposing its imperfections and absurdities. A visceral encounter between the mundane and the grotesque, Ructus invites passersby to question the performance of identity in everyday life.
